The usual pattern of meeting is monthly. There are two meetings per month for either 10 or 11 months of the year depending on the study stream. The first meeting is called a ‘teaching’ meeting and the second meeting is called a ‘reflective’ meeting. The ‘teaching’ meeting is one at which the lecture is received. This lecture may be given by an authorized presenter, by DVD, CD or be read as a transcript. This meeting may take place with all the members of that Study Group present or it may take place individually.

The second meeting is a meeting in which the teaching content is reflected upon and any task given completed. This second reflective meeting − which may take place face-to-face or via electronic means − is ideally conducted in smaller groups and is an opportunity for focused spiritual conversation. The purpose is to assist in integrating the occult knowledge. Both meetings last from 1.5 to 2 hours and are an opportunity to practice spiritual perception.
